Michael Patrick Leahy is a founder of the nationwide Tea Party Movement and a committed activist, educator, and author.

Michael is the founder of Top Conservatives on Twitter, which boasts more than 5,000 members. Michael also founded The TCOT Report, a source for fast breaking news of interest to the conservative community which some have described as "Drudge Meets Twitter."

On February of 2009, he co-founded the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, coordinating a simultaneous nationwide event held February 27, 2009 in 50 different cities and attended by over 30,000 people. Michael also facilitated Round 2 of the Tea Party Movement, which took place in 900 cities across the country on April 15, 2009 and was attended by over 1 million people.

Michael is the host of two programs on Pajamas TV: TCOTonPJTV, and The Tea Party Coalition Show on PJTV.

Michael became an Evangelical Christian in 1984, strongly influenced by highly rational friends and professors at both Harvard and Stanford.

He wrote his first book, Letter to an Atheist, in 2007. Michael is also the author of What Does Barack Obama Believe? and What Does Sarah Palin Believe?

Michael graduated magna cum laude from Harvard in 1977 and holds an MBA from Stanford. His professional career includes work in management consulting, teaching, technology marketing, and entrepreneurship.

Michael is currently promoting his latest book: Rules for Conservative Radicals: Lessons from Saul Alinsky, the Tea Party Movement, and the Apostle Paul in the Age of Collaborative Technologies.
